The Christian education and training department has to deal with a vast spectrum of needs and people as it seeks to prepare leaders. An integral formation encompasses men and women, young and old; distance-learning and close mentoring; workshops and weekly instruction; attitude training and academic research; biblical reflection and skills development; lay and clergy; indigenous and criollo. Under God growth has taken place in the diocese. Faced with this growth and spiritual hunger, we still need to make every effort to continue to grow more mature disciples and pastors who can feed the flock appropriately. A team of six members, both indigenous and non indigenous, aims to facilitate the development of the aptitudes and gifts of all candidates. Through a variety of courses and retreats, using a wide spectrum of flexible methods and relevant materials, we help develop heads, hearts and hands for service in the Church.
